For the bungalows, for example, we chose plants rich in chlorophyll, ideal for breathing green: nopal, agave, nolina, palm, tamaya and dahlia, deeply Oaxacan species that accompany your rest amid the forest setting.

Rooms named after Oaxacan plants are not only an aesthetic choice, but a symbolic one. The names of our spaces evoke the connection with the earth, with what grows and gives us life. The bungalows are surrounded by living nature. The rooms, built over the old house of Mr Felipe — the root of Raíz — carry the names of trees with powerful roots: Ceiba, Ahuehuete, Tepozán and Caoba. Meanwhile, the ground-floor apartments, as base structures, carry the names of ground flowers: Azalea and Monstera.
